Do you ever wonder what makes you worthy in this world?
Do you ever feel at once lost and alone–
Searching but never finding,
Reaching but never grasping?
That is, until you stop. Stop:
Asking the same questions
Seeking the same answers
Believing the same ill-fitting ideas
Of what it means to be human.
Surely all these illusory ideas will slip from your grasp.
Try it. See how they fall,
Shattering the many self-deceptions you bear
Go ahead and fall–fail quickly and fast, as my mentor says.
But do not ever, ever refuse to take that step–
And forgo the blessed sacrament of the deaths
Befitting of every human life.
